A business man from Nottinghamshire is set to become the UK's first billionaire from selling medical Cannabis
Maximillian White is the owner of a large Cannabis farm in Portugal which employs hundreds of staff and provides exports to countries across the globe to use the drug for medicinal purposes. He first began operation four years ago and now at age 40 Maximilian is set be the UK's first billionaire from selling Cannabis.
White, who began his career as the UK's youngest landlord at the Spread Eagle pub in Alfreton Road in Radford now owns 50 properties in Dubai as well mansions in Thailand, Spain and the UK. Not to mention his impressive car collection of over 20 luxury vehicles which includes both a Rolls Royce and a Ferrari plus an extravagant wine collection worth over 3 million. However, much like many other entrepreneurs his first business (owning the pub on Alfreton Road) didn't work out and it took resilience and trying out a few different things before he became the success he is today.
The father of four also owes part of his fortune to his work in the music industry in the early stages of his career. Fun fact! Maximillian produced a track which was sampled in Drakes hit song 'One Dance.' He also built up a favourable reputation for himself as a DJ in his early 20s, headlining in some of the biggest party capitals across the globe and now opening up his own beach club which has attracted the likes of Tyga, Rick Ross and French Montana.
Despite Maximillian having his foot in a variety of different investments and businesses he claims his Cannabis business is "the most rewarding" and that for him "it's not about the money, it's about the vision" because "It can help people with conditions including psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, fits and countless other things." He also said that the company plan to build a strain of medical marijuana that is specific to each patient's needs, with hopes it will help improve conditions such as depression, anxiety, epilepsy, Schizophrenia and Alzheimer’s.
It's safe to say many of us dream to be as wealthy as Maximillian however White said himself that there are important things than having lots of expensive stuff and being extremely wealthy and that "If you link money with happiness, no amount is ever going to be enough."
