American rap superstar Cardi B took to Instagram live earlier this week to clear up rumours and share the real reason behind her filing for divorce from Husband Offset.
This week Cardi B (real name Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar) shocked fans after announcing her split from Migos Rapper Offset after 3 years of marriage. Shortly after the news was brought to the public eye rumours began to circulate that the reason behind Cardi filing for divorce was that Offset had once again been unfaithful in their relationship, some even suggesting that he may have a baby on the way with another Woman.
Cardi soon shut down all the speculation, heading to Instagram live to tell all. She revealed that the reason behind their split was in fact due to the pair constantly arguing with one another and how she "got tired of not seeing things eye to eye." She also reiterated that the nature of their divorce was not due to infidelity by saying "This time, I wasn't crying. Wanna know why? The reason my divorce is not because of none of that s*** that ever happened before. It's not because the cheating. I'm seeing people saying 'Oh, he has a baby on the way.' That's a whole f*** complete lie."
The breakdown of their marriage and constant string of arguments supposedly came after their brief split in 2018 due to Offset cheating on Cardi, but after a series of grand gestures from Offset trying to win her back the couple decided that they would try to work things out for the sake of their Daughter Kulture.
Cardi has thanked fans for their support in the matter and reassured them that she isn't upset about the breakup this time around, insisting "I want to say thank you so much. However, like, I don't really need it. I'm okay. I want to let you know I have not shed one tear."
