Headie One is unquestionably a strong contender when it comes to delivering bangers. He returns to the scene with ‘2 Chains’ produced by popular drill producer M1OnTheBeat and twintwopg, following the successful release of his recent track Pound Signs in June.
From a lyrical standpoint, we know that Headie's penmanship is not to be trifled with. Reminding us why he should be separated from his peers in the industry, he spits very tactically yet playfully, referencing the likes of Ashanti, Kirk Franklin, and football - all neatly blended without fail.
The tune is backed by extremely captivating visuals shot by none other than DAPS. We see Headie outside in the open when it's still light outside in a type of deserted-like warehouse, but we also get a couple flickering glimpses of him in a very dimly lighted location with chains wrapping around the pillars in the background. The cinematography truly is amazing.
