Love Island's Ovie Shocks Fans After Unveiling Newly Shaven Head

Ovie Soko showed off his shaved head while in Lockdown earlier this week, sending fans into crisis

Love island star and hunky basketball player Ovie shocked the public as he follows the long line of celebrities who have shaved their head during lockdown. The 29 year old shot to fame last year after appearing on the ITV reality show Love Island, where he soon became fan favourite of the series for his relaxed persona, great advice and charming good looks. He has since become the prince charming of reality TV and the love interest of girls all over the country. However, its safe to say fans were left disappointed after he revealed his new look on social media.

Love Island co-star Amber Gill was also quick to have her say as she worryingly wrote, "what happened?" She also headed to Tic Tok to make a video teasing her friend further about his latest hair style. The video soon went viral and in good spirits Ovie himself reposted the clip to his Instagram story, captioning it "why though?" Although, Amber wasn't the only star to comment, football legend Ian Wright also commented on the new found resemblance between the pair by joking - "Welcome Nephew."

Alongside a long list of celebrities, many members of the general public have taken to the trend of shaving their heads during lockdown as well. We guarantee if you take a look at your Instagram, Twitter or Facebook timeline you'll find a least one person you know has decided to switch to a buzz cut.

Lockdown seems to be the best time for bold new looks - let's face it, you may not be seeing your friends, family or colleagues for some time now so there's no room for embarrassment if your latest experiment hasn't quite gone to plan.

Maybe you're reading this now with a brand bold head, lets hope yours has gone down better than Ovie's!

And Ovie, if you're reading this we have a "message!" for you, in the words of a shocked fan off Twitter - "still love you though but we might need to grow that back."
