Nando's Has Announced They'll Soon Be Hosting A Number Of Free Parties In Their Restaurants

Updated: Jun 22, 2021

Nando's has announced they'll be hosting a number of free parties in their restaurants across the UK to celebrate the end of lockdown.

Titled 'Nando's Yard Unlocked', the events will see five of their restaurants across the UK host a post-lockdown event. They've already revealed that four out of the five locations will include London, Birmingham, Leeds and Bristol, sharing that the public will have the power to decide the location of the fifth and final event

Nando's are renowned for their PERi-PERi chicken but it seems the restaurant chain is looking to branch out, with the upcoming parties set to feature some of the hottest DJ's as well as an impressive lineup of musical talent.

So far they've announced that the London edition of the event, in collaboration with 'No Mercy', will feature the likes of DJ Maximum, Novelist, Master Peace, Lorenzo RSV and Harry Crane. The Birmingham party, curated with 'Sum Cellar', will include Emerald B2B Alexistry, Char Stape, and S Bambina. Leeds, in association with 'Readymeal Sound', will see performances from Skream, Pixie Cola, and Dafs. And finally, the Bristol lineup, with 'Concrete Jungyals', will feature Jossy Mitsu, Grove and Emmy. A list of residents will also join the already impressive lineup and there's potential that even more guest stars will be announced in the lead up to June 21st.

However, with a limited capacity of just 100-150, it means not everyone will get to experience the free, post-lockdown celebration. Nando's have encouraged eager party goers to keep their eye out on their website and social media channels for ticket information to ensure you don't miss out! It's rumoured pre-sale tickets will go live on May 14th and general tickets will be released on the 21st.

So far the reaction has been overwhelmingly positive, with a long list of Nando's regulars ready to get their hands on tickets. One person on Instagram joked "I'm always dancing in the toilets anyway so might as well" whereas another wrote "Shake a leg and eat a chicken leg, what more could you want."

As mentioned before the public have the power to choose the fifth location for 'Nando's Yard Unlocked' so if your city isn't already on the list it's time to get voting. Simply head over to the Nando's Yard website to register your details and nominate your city.

Are you hoping to bag a ticket to 'Nando's Yard Unlocked' or do you think it's just to bizarre to party in a chicken restaurant?
