In the lead up to our highly anticipated FM go live date there have been a number of exciting advancements here at Croydon FM, so we felt it was only right to catch you up with all the latest!
If you’re reading this right now you may have noticed that our website is looking a little different. We recently gave it a fresh new image and have added some cool new features for you to check out. Make sure to give it a good explore and let us know via our socials what you think of it's brand new look.
And talking of our socials, we are proud to announce the launch of the Croydon FM YouTube channel. Exciting content will be coming to the channel very soon so keep your eyes peeled, but for now be sure to hit subscribe and leave a like on our most recent video (see below.)
In recent weeks you may have also spotted us in a few different news articles. Ahead of our relaunch Croydon FM have been featured in the likes of Mixmag, Complex, 9bills, Trench and most recently GRM Daily. If you're a local resident you may have also seen us appear on a number of incredible, local publications including The Croydon Advertiser and The South West Londoner.
Throughout each of the articles, CFM was met with a wealth of praise, many highlighting the significance and cultural importance of having an FM radio station based in the heart of Croydon.
In the words of James Keith (Trench) "In just three years, the Black-owned and not-for-profit station has become a powerful force in championing South London culture and elevating local talent."

And of course, as Croydon FM continues to grow and expand so does our team! We recently welcomed a new member to the Saturday lineup who goes by the name of DMIX.
When asked what excites him the most about being a part of the Croydon FM family, DMIX wrote "I'm excited to be working for my community and to be a part of such a great team of like-minded people. It's an opportunity to strengthen the community and bring people together through diverse music and cultures." And when it comes to his show he shared that "it is catered for all, music does not discriminate. So if you're interested in discovering new music, reminiscing on the old, then check out the Sound It Show."
You can catch DMIX' ‘Sound It Show’ from 8-10PM every Saturday where he'll be spinning the very best in Reggae, Hip-Hop and Bashment. And in the words of DMIX himself "expect good music and good vibes.”
With our FM go live date fast approaching, its needless to say you can expect to see a lot more exciting advancements happening.
