ZieZie has enlisted Ms Banks and Kwengface to feature on his brand new single 'Late Night Text'
ZieZie is known for delivering catchy club tunes and it seems his latest single 'Late Night Text' is set to be another hit for the British Rapper. The rising South London talent has linked up with fellow rap sensations Ms Banks and Kwengface and despite the three all having distinctively different styles, their differing sounds all seem to compliment each other on the track.
The 22 year old who grew up in Croydon has risen to fame in the last couple of years and now boasts an impressive set of stats which include 196 million streams worldwide. His early releases 'Fine Girl' and 'Sensie' have gone certified platinum and silver in the UK and more recently the rising star has collaborated with one of the UK's hottest rappers of the moment - Aitch, to produce chartbusting tunes 'Buss Down' and 'French Kisses.'
When speaking about his latest release ZieZie mentioned that Jeremih was the inspiration behind the song and that 'Late Night Text' is in fact a sample of Jeremih's hit song 'Birthday Sex.' ZieZie also went on to explain that his aim was to create something people can relate to so instead of talking about 'Birthday Sex' he chose to speak about 'Late Night Texts,' because he knew lots of people would be able to resonate with staying up late at night "feeling a special type of way" and "sending a cheeky text to a special someone."
One criticism of the track so far simply being that Kwengface's verse on the track was far too short, with fans flooding to the comment section of the music video to share their disappointment that he didn't have a longer feature. However, Kwengface's verse wasn't the only thing fans complained about being too short, with many also commenting that the song itself needed to be longer, although this seems to be an indicator that people are loving the track so much they want to hear more of it rather than it being a real criticism. Overall, the feedback for the song so far seems to be extremely positive, with people already recognising that the tune will be a success, complimenting ZieZie's knack for consistently delivering 'bangers'.
