CFM YOUTH PROJECT

Are you a young person in Croydon? Do you want to learn how to use radio broadcasting equipment?

You're in luck!

Croydon FM is a community radio station that focuses on providing opportunities in creative media for members across the Croydon communities. Since its inception, we've focused on young people, and we've seen amazing things happen as a result. We think you should be a part of that.

If you're between the ages of 14 and 17 and live in the Croydon area, we'd love to talk to you about our Youth Project. It's designed to challenge young people to eliminate negative stereotypes by engaging with creative media—and it could be just what you need!

The Youth Project is open to 14-17-year-olds based in Croydon, and usually takes place during the half-term break. Sessions are facilitated by trained volunteers who are DBS checked and hold experience working with young people. The activities take place in a safe environment, where you'll get hands-on experience with radio broadcasting equipment.
