Updated: Jun 22

KSI, Mahalia, Ms Banks, Jasmine Jobson and more make this year's edition of the Forbes '30 Under 30' list for Europe.

This years edition of the Forbes '30 Under 30' list for Europe was released earlier this week. The prestigious list showcases young talent who have had a strong impact across a number of industries, aiming to spotlight "the next generation of talent."

The entertainment category of this years list was curated by a panel of judges which featured the likes of Olly Alexander (Musician), Georgia Brown (Director of European Originals, Amazon Studios), Gina Jackson (Creator Partnerships Manager, TikTok) and Vaughn McKenzie-Landell (Co-founder, JAAK).

One talented individual to receive a mention in the category is rapper and YouTube KSI. The 27-year-old (also known as JJ) was not only recognised for his success as a YouTuber but also for his music career, having reached over a billion streams and hitting number 2 in the UK for his first studio album 'Dissimulation' and a sold-out tour planned for later this year.

The list also mentioned a number of other UK musicians including the likes of Mahalia, Ms Banks, MNEK and Arlo Parks.

Top Boy actress Jasmine Jobson also made a feature on the list, Forbes describing her as "an award-winning breakthrough actress with a raw edge." Additional female actresses emerging from the UK to make the list include Amarah-Jae St. Aubyn, who appeared in the 'Lovers Rock' instalment of 'Small Axe', Lydia West who recently appeared in Channel 4's 'It's A Sin', award-winning writer and actress Temi Wilkey, plus many more!

Other notable honourees across other categories within the Forbes list include the inspiring, Fisayo Longe. Longe founded the fashion brand 'Kai Collective' in 2016 with the aim of inspiring female confidence and it's safe to say since its launch she's achieved her objective and beyond. She has since collaborated with brands such as Google, Nike and Lancôme and provides support to Nigerian organisations 'The Mirabel Centre' and 'STER' who "provide medical and psychological services to domestic violence survivors." See below to read Fisayo's heartfelt response to being featured on the list in a post she uploaded to Instagram below.
